VOTERS’ MEETIMG HIGHLIGHTS
Last Sunday, February 4, the voters of the congregation met to conduct business. Highlights of the meeting are as follows:
Received into membership by transfer from a sister congregation – Ashley Peterson, Taylor Fritz and children
Approval of changes to by-laws of the Constitution which will allow an expansion of participation by both men and women on School Committee, Finance Committee and Cemetery Committee.
Approval to replace the carpet in the basement of the Hillsboro church with hard surface flooring.
The congregation granted a peaceful release from his Divine call to Pastor Snyder, who has accepted a call to Lewiston, MN. A release from her call was also granted to Mrs. Snyder.
PRE-CALL MEETING
A pre-call meeting, in preparation for obtaining a call list and calling a new pastor will take place on Wednesday, February 14 right after the 4:00pm service in Hillsboro. This will be a meeting that will happen during the fellowship meal, so that all can get supper. Pastor Michael Jensen, President of the Western Wisconsin District, will be there to assess our congregation’s needs, explain the call process and take your questions.

BIBLE INFORMATION CLASS STARTING FEBRUARY 8
A new session of New Life in Christ will begin soon. This course introduces foundational Bible teachings and is suited both to those interested in becoming members of the congregation and to members looking for a catechism refresher. Classes will be held on Thursdays at 6:00pm at the Wonewoc Campus beginning February 8.
