    You’ve probably seen Mr. Wurster around the St. Paul’s campuses the past few years. He’s been a member here for the past few years. The Hillsboro campus was his “home” congregation and the church where he grew up.

    Mr. Wurster attended Martin Luther Preparatory School in Prairie du Chien and Luther High School in Onalaska. He then attended Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Secondary education.

    Mr. Wurster was called to teach 9th and 10th grade religion at Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School. He also coached football and weightlifting. He served as the weight training coach for spring athletics as well. Mr. Wurster was then called to serve at Trinity Lutheran in Belle Plaine, MN. He taught 5th and 6th grades and served as athletic director. He also coached volleyball, track, cross country, and softball.

    In his free time, Mr. Wurster enjoys watching sports and movies, studying languages, listening to music, and discussing locally made beverages.

    Favorite Books: The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster, Band of Brothers by Stephen Ambrose, and Night by Elie Wiesel

    Favorite Bible passage: John 15:5 (Confirmation Verse)

    Annalies serves as the preschool and kindergarten teacher. In addition to her teaching duties, Annalies also works with the committees exploring the possibility of opening an early childhood center. She is on the program committee for the Western Wisconsin District. Annalies is also a mentor for new teachers through the New Teacher Induction program. She is also working on her Master's degree through Martin Luther College.

    Annalies grew up in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. In her spare time, Annalies enjoys camping, skiing, baking, cooking, and playing board games.

    Her favorite Bible passage is Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding"

    Pastor Jacob Limpert is well-acquainted with Christian education; from staring pre-school in 1998 to graduating from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 2020, he's spent his entire academic career in Lutheran schools. As one of the pastors at St. Paul Lutheran and school campus pastor, his duties include teaching Catechism in the upper grades, planning and leading weekly chapel on Fridays, and helping provide spiritual care and support for the St. Paul's School family: students, parents, and faculty.

    Pastor Limpert grew up in Rochester, MN. He and his wife, Jessica, were united in marriage on June 6, 2020. Together, Pastor and Jess enjoy getting cozy with a good book, hiking, gardening, and taking care of their cats and dogs.

    Jan has served in various capacities at St. Paul for the last 39 years and has been secretary/administrative assistant since 2010. The thing she enjoys most about her work is the joy in Jesus that she sees in the children of St. Paul's School.

    Jan grew up in the Hillsboro area and graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1973. She and her husband, Steve were married in 1974.

    Jan and Steve enjoy gardening, day trips, and long walks with their dogs in their free time.
