HOLY BAPTISM
At the 10:30 worship service in Wonewoc, Gunnar Arthur Cleaver, son of Jonathan and Stephanie Cleaver will receive the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit in holy baptism. May God richly bless the Cleaver family with love, health, and above all a strong faith in Jesus our Savior.
CARD SHOWER
It was suggested that we honor Mrs. Val Hagemann with a card shower in honor of her retirement. If you would still like to get a card to her, there is a basket in back of the church yet today, or you can mail a card to her. Her address is S994 Hagemann Rd. Wonewoc, WI 53968.
PANTHER PARENTS BOOSTER CLUB MEETING - JULY 25TH
Are you looking for a way to help the school? Do you have a desire to assist our school in a variety of ways? Well, the Panther Parents Boosters may be just for you. The Panther Parents is an organization that looks to broaden the involvement of students, students’ parents, and all members of the congregation in school activities. Panther Parents does this through the participation of anyone who has a desire to support the mission of our school. Panther Parents works with the faculty to raise funds, assist with school programs, promote fellowship and goodwill, and encourage participation in all school and church activities. Best of all, you do not need to have children enrolled to help assist the children of our congregation. If you are interested in helping or just need more information, please join us for a meeting/discussion on Tuesday, July 25th at 5:30PM in the Wonewoc church basement. We look forward to seeing you there!
QUARTERLY VOTERS MEETING
The quarterly congregational meeting will be held on August 6 at the Wonewoc Campus at 10:00am. There is only one service that day at the Wonewoc Campus at 9:00am. A potluck will follow the meeting. All members, voting and non-voting, are encouraged to attend.
SCHOOL REGISTRATION
School Registration will take place on August 6 after the worship service at Wonewoc. Registration will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 at the school.
JOINT SUMMER SERVICE – AUGUST 13
A special service is being planned for August 13 that will include St. Paul Wonewoc-Hillsboro, St. John’s, Kendall and St. Matthew’s, Ontario congregations coming together as brothers and sisters in Christ to worship our Lord and share in fellowship with each other. Installation of Ashley Peterson as our new 7-8 grade teacher and Matt Wurster as principal will take place at this service. The service will be held at the Elroy Fairgrounds at the Firemen’s Pavilion. and will take place at 10:00am. Please note, there will be only one service that day.
