SCHOOL WINDOW PROJECT
Check out the new siding and the new clean look to the school’s exterior. We are just waiting on the top windows to be installed. All should be completed before the first day of school. This was a huge blessing to be able to update in this way. It should save on some energy costs, as well as improve ventilation and safety.
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
The first day of school for students will be Friday, September 1st. Students should report on September 1st as a regular school day. Because of construction we will not be holding an open house this year, but instead will be using that first day of school as a drop off day for school supplies and a day to get organized and oriented. We will be having hot lunch on September 1st. The first day of academic classes will be Tuesday, September 5.
NEEDED! DRIVER FOR AM STUDENT PICK-UP
St. Paul’s School is looking for people who would be willing to pick up some St. Paul’s students who don’t have transportation to school in the mornings. You do not need a special operator’s license, and you would be using the school’s vehicle. For more information, please contact Troy Gander at 608-462-7911.
TO GIVE AWAY
We have several working color TVs (old style tube, not flat screen) to give away. They are available in the school gym for anyone who is interested in them. You can stop in any time the office is open or call to set up a time to look.
THANK YOU
Miss Ashley Peterson and Mr. Wurster would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all who attended their installation, gave gifts, and offered prayers. They were overfilled with joy to see everyone show welcome and appreciation as they begin and continue their ministry here at St. Paul’s. They have seen God’s hand at work here and will be forever grateful for your support, kindness, and love.
GYM MATS
Since the new gym matting is in place, the old gym mats have been taken down and are available to anyone that wants them. If you would like them as a keepsake, please help yourself. They are currently outside by the basketball hoop against the school building. If they are not claimed by sundown on Sunday, August 27, they will be forever removed from St. Paul’s property. Please contact Mr. Wurster if you would like to have a memento of St. Paul’s gym history.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Sunday school will begin on September 10. It is held at the Hillsboro campus and begins at 9:15 each Sunday. Speak to Pastor Snyder or Pastor Limpert if you are interested in this for your kids.
