2024 OFFERING ENVELOPES
Envelopes for next year are available in the church basement in Wonewoc or the narthex in Hillsboro. Ushers can assist you if you need help.    Please do not use these new envelopes until after January 1 as envelope numbers have changed.  In a cost saving effort, we have not included envelope packets for anyone who has not used them in the last year.  If you would like envelopes, you cannot find your envelopes, or if the address on the label is not correct, please let the church office know (464-3212).

GIVING TREE

St. Paul’s students are asking for your help as they gather personal care items for area food pantries.  Special needs are toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, hair care products and feminine products. Laundry soap, fabric softener, dish soap and other cleaning supplies are always a need also. If you would like to help, you can bring items to be placed under our school tree until December 18th.

CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS SERVICE – DECEMBER 17

The Children’s Christmas Service will be held Sunday, December 17, at 4:00pm.  There will be only a single service. Sunday School will also be singing at the 8:00am service in Hillsboro. Thank you to Ms. Sarah Fischer for accompanying the Sunday School.

CHRISTMAS EVE/DAY WORSHIP

On Sunday December 24, morning services will be at 8:00 and 10:30 as usual.  Then there will be the Christmas Cantata at Wonewoc at 4:00pm and a Christmas Eve contemplative worship service at 6:30pm in Hillsboro. Christmas Day worship will take place at 8:00am in Hillsboro and 10:30am in Wonewoc.

EMAIL SCAM

There have been some emails going out that claim to be from Pastor Snyder (it's happened in the past with Pastor Limpert's name). We'd like to caution you not to respond to any email or open any link in such an email. Emails from the pastors will be from either revsnyder@stpaulhw.com or revlimpert@stpaulhw.com. Please, always be cautious about suspicious looking emails. Thank you for paying attention to this.

DISCIPLESHIP TEAM ORIENTATION MEETINGS

We will be offering brief orientation meetings for anyone interested in joining the Discipleship Team, a key component of the Peter Plan. The meeting will be the same on each day; you wouldn't need to attend more than one. The meetings will be held December 16, 10:00am, Wonewoc; December 20, 6:30pm, Wonewoc; December 23, 10:00am, Hillsboro.

WORSHIP SURVEY

A survey has been put together by the pastors and elders looking for feedback on various aspects of our worship practices. Now that we are almost two years into our use of the new hymnal, we want to gather information on how the introduction process has gone, as well as other aspects of our worship services. Paper copies are available at church, or you can fill out the survey online by going to stpaulhw.com/worshipsurvey.
