CHRISTMAS EVE/DAY WORSHIP

Please join us Sunday night for the Candlelight Christmas Cantata at Wonewoc at 4:00pm and a Christmas Eve contemplative worship service at 6:30pm in Hillsboro. Christmas Day worship will take place at 8:00am in Hillsboro and 10:30am in Wonewoc.

DIVINE CALL
Pastor Snyder has received a divine call to serve at St. John Lutheran Church of Lewiston, MN. A congregational meeting to discuss this will most likely be set after the first of the year.  In the meantime, you are encouraged to reach out to him with any thoughts or comments by email, appointment or in person.  Please keep him, his family and the two congregations in your prayers as he deliberates this call.

TEACHER CALL

Matthew Kanzenbach is currently holding a call to teach 5-6 grades here at St. Paul.  He is a teacher at St. Paul Lutheran School in Lovinia, MI.  Please keep Mr. Kanzenbach and family in prayer as he deliberates where he can best serve his Savior.

2024 OFFERING ENVELOPES
Envelopes for next year are available in the church basement in Wonewoc or the narthex in Hillsboro. Ushers can assist you if you need help. In a cost-saving effort, we have not included envelope packets for anyone who has not used them in the last year.  If you would like envelopes, you cannot find your envelopes, or if the address on the label is not correct, please let the church office know (464-3212).

THANK YOU

Thank you to all who contributed items for the St. Paul students Giving Tree this year.  Personal care items and cleaning supplies were distributed to the Wonewoc Area Food Pantry and the Good Samaritan Food Pantry in Hillsboro. Your generosity was truly a blessing for those in need.

YEAR-END GIVING—UPCOMING MAINTENANCE PROJECTS

We are anticipating having some larger maintenance projects for our church and school properties in the coming year. If you are looking to make a year-end gift, consider a contribution to the building projects fund for either the church or school. More information about anticipated projects can be found in the narthex. Undesignated gifts and memorials are always appreciated as well.

“Bethlehem Lutheran Academy is looking for a nurturing and mission-minded person who would like to lead a 0-2 infant room, to support the expanding of our preschool program and bring young children and families to Jesus.  BLA offers above average compensation, including vacation time and bonuses.  Looking for both PT & FT help.  Experience not required, as willing to train the right individual. WORSHIP SURVEY

A survey has been put together by the pastors and elders looking for feedback on various aspects of our worship practices. Now that we are almost two years into our use of the new hymnal, we want to gather information on how the introduction process has gone, as well as other aspects of our worship services. Paper copies are available at church, or you can fill out the survey online by going to stpaulhw.com/worshipsurvey.
