2023 CONTRIBUTION STATEMENTS
Contribution statements for 2023 went out last Tuesday via email.  It will come from automail@360members.com.  You might want to check your spam folder if you don’t see an email and are expecting one. This is a new process for us, so please bear with us, there have been some problems with attachments in a few cases.  If we do not have an email for you, then the paper statements are available at both churches. Ask an usher for assistance We would like to encourage all members to have an email on file in the data base.  Please reach out to the church office with any questions.

TEACHER CALL

The Board of Education has issued a call to Mr. John Schleis, currently serving at Trinity Lutheran School in Kiel, WI. to teach grades 5-6.  Please keep Mr. Schleis and his family in your prayers as he deliberates this call to serve.

QUARTERLY VOTERS MEETING

The quarterly voters’ meeting will be held on February 4 at 10:00am at the Wonewoc Campus.  Agenda items include membership changes and possible changes to by-laws for the Board of Education and Cemetery Board. Please note there is only one service that day at 9:00am.  Bible study will take place at 8:00am.  There is no Sunday School.

ADULT BIBLE STUDY

Our current Bible study is entitled Introducing Jesus – A Primer for Reading the Gospels. In this study we will be introduced to how to read the Bible, what the gospels are, and how each of the four gospels has a unique author writing to a unique audience, giving us four ways of sharing who Jesus is. This study is useful not only for those new the Bible, but also for Christians working on their apologetic tact of talking about Jesus as a real, historical figure. Bible study takes place at both campuses every Sunday morning at 9:15am.

CLEANERS SCHEDULE

The cleaning schedule for the Wonewoc campus has been updated for the first 3 months of this year. Families are assigned a week to clean the church. The cleaning usually takes about 2 hours once a week. There are copies of the schedule on the table in back of the sanctuary. There is also a master calendar hanging on the bulletin board if anyone would like to sign up for specific weeks. The office can answer any questions that you might have regarding supplies and duties.  Thank you for your help!

TRIVIA NIGHT – FEBRUARY 10

Panther Parents is sponsoring a Trivia Night on February 10, 2024 at the Wonewoc Legion Hall.  If you enjoy trivia, this might be the event for you.  There is a registration fee of $120 per team that includes a chili meal. You can have up to 8 players on a team. Check the poster in the narthex for more info and click here to register or contact Rachel at rwobschall@gmail.com or 608-415-0287. Proceeds will be divided between St. Paul’s School and the Wonewoc American Legion .

WORSHIP SURVEY

A survey has been put together by the pastors and elders looking for feedback on various aspects of our worship practices. Now that we are almost two years into our use of the new hymnal, we want to gather information on how the introduction process has gone, as well as other aspects of our worship services. Paper copies are available at church, or you can fill out the survey online by going to stpaulhw.com/worshipsurvey.
