DIVINE CALLS
A divine call to serve as pastor has been extended to Pastor Kurt Schaser, who is currently serving St. John's in Newburg, WI. He may be contacted at pastorschaser@stjohnsnewburg.com. A divine call to serve as 5-6 grade teacher has been extended to Mrs. Sarah Schaser, who is currently serving at St. John’s Lutheran School. She may be contacted at sarahschaser@stjohnsnewburg.com. LWMS SCHOLARSHIP FUNDRAISER
On April 7 (Hillsboro Campus) and 14 (Wonewoc Campus) there will be a craft and bake sale held to support scholarships for students in our area congregations who attend one of our ministerial education schools. The “Share Your Talents” fundraiser will feature the crafting and culinary gifts of our congregation. Donations of items for sale can be dropped off on the Saturday prior from 10–Noon, or on Sunday before worship.
LWMS SPRING RALLY
The Scenic South Central Circuit of the LWMS will be having their spring rally on Saturday, April 20 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Baraboo, WI. Registration and fellowship are at 9:00am with opening devotion starting at 9:30. The guest speaker is Ryan Halter from Kingdom Prep Lutheran High School in Waukesha. All ladies of the congregations are invited to attend.
DISTRICT SUNDAY SCHOOL CONFERENCE—JULY 20
A Sunday School Conference will be held on July 20 at the Wonewoc campus. Speakers will present on various topics related to Sunday School ministry. SENIOR CHOIR NEWS
With our choir season coming to an end, we want to reach out and see if we can add some more voices for next year. We are hoping to get some more people and we will be considering possible scheduling changes. If anyone is interested, please reach out to director Alma Schnurr or any member of the choir.
