PASTOR LIMPERT VACATION
Pastor Limpert will be away July 10–16. If you are in need of pastoral care during that time, please contact Pastor Wilke (608-350-9681) or Pastor Waldschmidt (414-712-1957) from St. Paul’s, Mauston-Friendship. In addition, there will be no Thursday evening worship service on July 11. Sunday services and Bible Study will be the same as usual.
DIVINE CALL RETURNED
The next voters meeting to call a pastor will be on July 21, 2:00pm at the Wonewoc Campus.
TEACHER INSTALLATION
Installation for Mr. Justus Kupsky, our new 7-8 grade teacher, will be held at the 10:30am worship service on July 21. A potluck and welcome will take place after the service. Please bring a side or dessert if you can; hot meat sandwiches are being provided. Mark this date on your calendar and come and welcome Mr. Kupsky as he begins his ministry here at St. Paul’s.
We have also had an emergency teacher accept the call to teach 5-6 grade. Mr. Justin Peter will arrive soon. His installation is to be determined yet and we will give you details as soon as they are in place.
COMING IN AUGUST—NEW MID-WEEK WORSHIP SCHEDULE
The elders have approved a change of days for the weeknight service. Beginning the week of August 4, the 7:00pm weeknight service will be changing from Thursday evenings to Monday evenings. (There will be no Thursday evening service on August 1. The weeknight service for that week will be on August 5).
HELP NEEDED FOR THE HILLSBORO CHARITY TRACTOR PULL
The Hillsboro Charity Tractor Pull is Friday, August 9 and Saturday August 10 at the Hillsboro Fairgrounds. Our church will be selling pizzas and ice cream Friday evening and Saturday afternoon and evening. Set up and tear down will be taken care of, but WE NEED VOLUNTEERS to help in the food stands and selling concessions in the grandstand. Our church and school benefit from this event, and if you can help, please sign up. There are different shift times available Friday afternoon and evening and Saturday. There is a sign-up sheet in back.
SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER NEEDED
We are looking for someone to serve as the Sunday School Coordinator/Teacher at the Hillsboro campus beginning this fall. If you or someone you know might be interested, please reach out to Pastor Limpert or one of the elders. Thanks to Lisa Johnson for her many years of faithful service.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL JULY 29–AUGUST 1
Come fly with us. Soon we’ll be Soaring High! That’s the name of this year’s vacation Bible school program. Kids ages 3-12 are invited to come learn about our best treasure—Jesus. The dates are July 29-August 1 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. The place is St. Paul’s School. Invite your friends! There will be an adult session also and parents are encouraged to attend. Online registration is available by going to stpaulhw.com and clicking on the green bar at the top of the page. Or you may sign up in back. There is also a sign-up if anyone would be willing to provide snacks for the evenings. Registration deadline is July 21.
