DIVINE CALL
On Sunday, March 2, the voters extended a call to Pastor Craig Engel to serve as associate pastor. Pastor Engel is currently serving at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Willmar, MN.
Please keep Pastor Engel in your prayers as he deliberates where the Lord would have them serve. Call status and contact information for called workers can be found at stpaulhw.com/calls.
CALL MEETING TODAY
There will be a call meeting for teachers for grades 1—2, 5—6 and Kindergarten held today, April 6 after the 10:30am worship service.
MID WEEK LENT WORSHIP
This Wednesday, April 9, is the last mid-week service for Lent. There will be a fish fry supper after the 4:00 service. Pre-order forms for the fish are available on the back table or you can go to our church website and find the link to an online form. Pre-orders should help determine how much to plan for, but just show up for the meal if you didn’t get a pre-order in and would like to have a dinner.
CONFIRMATION—APRIL 13
Next Sunday, at the 10:30am service, five young members of our congregation will confess their faith publicly and affirm that they are prepared to receive the Sacrament of the Altar. May we continue to support these young Christians and all the members of our congregation as we grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
EASTER INVITATION POSTCARDS
In your bulletins today are some postcard invitations for worship on Easter Sunday. Please use then to invite a neighbor, friend, or family member to come share in the joy of worshipping the risen Savior. If you more than one card, there are more on the back table.
ECM NAME SELECTION
Thank you to everyone who gave their input and vote for the new ECM name. The final vote was “Faithful Beginnings.” Groundbreaking for the project will take place on April 10 at 11:00am.
CEMETERY CLEAN-UP
A clean-up day for the cemetery is being planned for Saturday, April 26, beginning at 9:00am. If you can’t be there right away just come when you can that morning. In case of bad weather, the rain date is the next Saturday, May 3.
