DIVINE CALL RETURNED
Pastor Bryan Schwarz has returned the call to serve as associate pastor. We thank Pastor Schwarz for his time in deliberation and pray for God’s continued blessings on his ministry in eastern Washington.
DIVINE CALL RECEIVED
On July 28, Pastor Limpert received a divine call to serve as associate pastor at Salem Lutheran Church in Stillwater, MN. Please keep Pastor and Jess in your prayers as he deliberates. He invites the members of the congregation to reach out to him with anything they would like to discuss about the call.
CHURCH & SCHOOL GROUNDS CLEANUP WORKDAY
Sunday, August 25, right after the 10:30 worship service in Wonewoc, we are asking anyone who would be able to lend a hand to help clean up the church and school grounds. Things are looking pretty untidy; with weeds encroaching in the landscaping and around the playground. Just show up if you are able to help and bring rakes, pruners, trimmers, etc.
SCHOOL REGISTRATION
The last evening of in-person school registration will take place on August 22. The time will be from 6:30-7:30. Part of registration this year is parent attendance of a presentation/orientation. Only one parent needs to be present to make it easier to accommodate everyone's schedules. The presentation will be held 2 times each evening at 6:30 and 7:00. Call or email office @stpaulhw if you have any questions.
THANK YOU!
A shout out goes to all, both adults and students, who gave of their time at the Hillsboro Charity Tractor Pull to help in the food stands and sing the national anthem at the charity tractor pull. Around $6,000 was raised to help in our church and school. This couldn’t be accomplished with our members’ willingness to help and support community events like this.
SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER NEEDED
We are still looking for someone to serve as the Sunday School Coordinator/Teacher at the Hillsboro campus beginning this fall. If you or someone you know might be interested, please reach out to Pastor Limpert or one of the elders.
